Where is the Instagram Carousel Wizard?
There isn't a dedicated Instagram Carousel wizard.
Use a standard Instagram Post wizard instead.
How does it work?
Adding additional pages (canvases) to a single design convert it into a carousel post.
Therefore we will use an Instagram Visual Post wizard to start, duplicate the design, and then modify the new pages to make it into a swipable carousel.
Start the Instagram Post wizard
From the homepage click Create New
Select the Social Media category
then select Instagram
Select Post then More visual
Fill out the Wizard
Define the goal of your post in the text prompt.
Make sure your Brand Kit is selected.
Confirm the desired image aspect ratio of your post and desired language.
When ready click Refine post details
Select a template
(You can browse the template library to see additional template)
Review and Edit your post caption.
Confirm the name and the project that your design will be created inside of.
When Ready click Generate Post
Refine Design
Take your template and refine the design of the first image. This will make subsequent images easier to create.
The example images shown below are of a design with a sequence of images and messages.
Including numbers or arrows will help viewers see that your post is a carousel and can be swiped.
Duplicate Design
Use the duplicate icon shown below to create as many pages as you need for your design concept.
You can view how many pages you have using the bottom right indicator inside of Designer.
Reorder Pages
Clicking the Reorder Pages button then Reorder Pages again bring up a popup window that will allow you to change the order of your pages.
Simply click and drag the images around to adjust the order. Clicking confirm to lock in your newly adjusted sequence of images.
Replace Text and Images as Needed
If you have any images or text sequences go through and update them as needed.
Double-clicking on a piece of text will allow you to edit it.
Clicking an image on a new design and then clicking replace will allow you select a replacement image.
Publish Your Post
Once you've finished refining your design, use the Publish tool like you typically would, to publish your carousel to Instagram.
Post Preview will update to include the carousel ensuring your sequence and images look correct.
Use Post Now to post right away
Use Schedule for Later to set a date and time for your post to go live on Instagram.
