When Auto-Replies are turned on, Blaze watches for new comments on eligible posts and sends natural, on-brand replies for you.
What Instagram Auto-Replies do
Auto-Replies help you stay active in the comments without needing to manually respond to every message.
When someone comments on an Instagram post that was published through Blaze, Blaze can automatically send a reply on your behalf.
This is designed to help you:
Keep engagement moving
Respond faster to your audience
Stay active in the comments even when you're busy
How to turn on Auto-Replies
You can enable Auto-Replies for any connected Instagram account in your social account settings.
For an existing Instagram account
If you already have an Instagram account connected to Blaze:
Go to Settings
Find your connected Instagram account
Hover over the account row to reveal the settings menu
Open the dropdown
Turn Auto-replies on
Once enabled, Blaze will automatically reply to eligible comments on Instagram posts published through Blaze.
For a new Instagram account
If you’re connecting a new Instagram account, you can turn on Auto-replies during the connection flow.
After the account is connected, Blaze will begin monitoring eligible posts for new comments.
Which posts are eligible
Auto-Replies only work on Instagram posts published through Blaze.
That means:
Eligible: Posts published to Instagram using Blaze
Not eligible: Posts published directly in Instagram or through another tool
If a post was not published through Blaze, Blaze will not auto-reply to comments on that post.
How Auto-Replies work
Once Auto-Replies are enabled, Blaze monitors comments on eligible Instagram posts and replies automatically when appropriate.
Reply timing
Blaze sends replies 30 to 90 seconds after a comment comes in.
This delay is randomized so replies feel more natural and less instant.
Reply limit per post
Blaze will reply to up to 10 comments per post.
After a post reaches that limit, Blaze will stop auto-replying on that post.
One reply per commenter
Blaze will only reply to the same person once per post.
If someone leaves multiple comments on the same post, Blaze will not keep replying to each one.
How long Auto-Replies stay active
There’s no time limit on Auto-Replies for an eligible post.
As long as:
the post was published through Blaze
new comments continue to come in
the post has not hit its 10-reply limit
…Blaze can keep replying.
When Blaze will skip a comment
Blaze does not reply to every comment.
A comment will be skipped if any of the following are true:
The comment has no text (for example, an image-only or sticker-style response)
The comment is only emojis
The comment was made by your own Instagram account
The post has already reached its 10 auto-reply limit
Blaze has already replied to that commenter on that post
Blaze’s safety checks determine that a reply should not be sent
Safety checks
Before sending a reply, Blaze runs a safety check to make sure an auto-reply is appropriate.
Blaze may skip comments that look like:
Spam
Promotional comments or ads
Harmful or abusive content
Sensitive situations that may need a human response instead
This helps prevent awkward, risky, or inappropriate automated replies.
Auto-Replies are best for keeping engagement active, not for handling every type of comment.
