Why do I have a $0.50 charge?

Learn why Blaze uses a $0.50 authorization charge for all users.

⚠️ Note: This article applies only to Blaze Copilot workspaces. If you’re on Blaze Autopilot, the guidance below doesn’t apply. To check which version you’re on, click your workspace icon in the top-right → choose Switch Teams → look at your workspace name.

  • If you see a purple “Autopilot” badge, you’re in an Autopilot workspace.

  • If there’s no badge, you’re using Copilot.

As a security measure recommended by our billing provider, we place a temporary $0.50 authorization hold/charge on accounts that gets released/refunded immediately after the trial is initiated.

This is to make sure real accounts and cards that can make payments are used and avoid fraud.
