View Content

When autopilot creates your content, it also schedules it to go live at a designated date and time. Allowing you to access your content in two places:

  1. You can access all scheduled content from the Calendar by selecting it from the sidebar.

  2. You can access content via the project/folders. These can be accessed also on the sidebar. Autopilot names them by the month and week range the content is created for.

Calendar View

By default you will see the calendar view relative to the date you are looking at it. The tools at the top of the calendar view allow you adjust the view to best suit your needs.

Change the view by using the < and > buttons to move the calendar forward and backwards by week increments.

Clicking "Today" will jump you back to the date you are viewing the calendar in.

You can change the view by clicking "Week View" and selecting one of the options in the drop down menu.

Filters can be applied to the view. This will filter down the posts that are visualized by various characteristics. (IE: Only Facebook posts - or - only Posts in the Draft Status)

Select Files will allow you select multiple posts from the calendar view.

Once selected, the toolbar that appears at the bottom of the calendar can be used to batch apply commands to those posts.

Currently you can Regenerate your selected posts, Delete them, or unselect them.

Previewing and Editing Posts

From the calendar view simply select a post to open it in the preview window.

Two Apps to View and Edit Content

Blaze content is authored and edited in two distinct applications.

  1. Blaze Designer - Think Canva but way better

    1. Design-first Social media content comprised of images with multiple layers of text, logos, shapes, and videos are created and edited here.

    2. Video related content like TikToks, Instagram Reels and Stories are also created and managed in Designer.

  2. Blaze Documents - Think Google Docs but AI powered

    1. Blogs and Newsletters are authored and edited in this tool.

    2. Social media content with simple images can also be authored and edited in Documents (this is less common).

Content will always be edited in the app it was created in.

Clicking on a post will open up a preview of the post. At the top of the window you can see an icon representing the platform the content will be published to, the name of the post, and the status of the post.

On the right side of the screen you can see and edit the scheduled date and time the post will go live.

Depending on the content type (Social media posts, newsletters, or blogs - the options may differ)

Rescheduling Content

Once you click on the date in the Posting on category, a calendar is visualized. Use it to change the scheduled date and time for the post to go live. Once you have made changes, click Update Date.

You can also use the Unschedule button to unschedule the post. This will change the status to "Draft" and erase the designated date and time.

You can also publish the content right away using Post Now.

Editing Post Content

You can edit captions for the post from the preview window by clicking Caption.

You can edit the post content in Designer by clicking Visual.

Editing Captions

Clicking Caption will bring up a pop-up window that will allow you to review and edit the captions that will be published with your post. Make edits directly to the content. and save them by clicking Save Caption.

Alternatively, you can have Blaze regenerate your captions by clicking the Regenerate button. Use caution here as Blaze will immediately author something different. Once you click Save caption, your previous captions will be lost.

Editing Visual Designs

By clicking Visual in the Edit category, Blaze will open your post up in Blaze Designer.

From here you can make more detailed adjustments to the image, Changing things like images, shapes, backgrounds, logos and more.

If you want to dive deeper into using Blaze Designer < jump to the help center article. We also have a video series that walks through the functionality of that product.

The video in this article also walks through the fundamentals of using Designer.

Once you have made changes to your content you can either go back to the preview of the post or jump back to the Calendar View.

Editing Text Content (Blogs and Newsletters)

From the Calendar View, if a Blog or a Newsletter is selected your preview window will look a little different than what was shown above.

The key differences being that this is a long format text based document. From the preview window you can only change the scheduled date and time and edit the document in Blaze Documents.

Click Document to open the post in Blaze Documents.

Once your document is open inside of Blaze Documents, it will provide a handful of tools on the right side of the screen to help you optimize your content.

Help center content is also available for becoming a master of Blaze Documents.

Again, any changes you make up until the contents scheduled date and time will be automatically saved. From documents you can jump back to the Calendar View.

Viewing Content from the Project / Folder View

From the home page you can access you content by opening the corresponding project/folder from from the sidebar

Similar Yet Different

At first glance this may appear to be the same view as the calendar view but its limited to the content created inside of that folder.

Projects (or folders) also contains the Table View.

The table view has adjustable columns like Post Date and Time and Post Status that provides another way to reschedule content and sort content. Additionally, the table view allows users to add more columns with additional metadata.

You can open posts directly from projects (or folders) by clicking on them.
