Access Integrations
Click Integrations located in the sidebar.
Locate the YouTube integration and click it to start the connection process.
Confirm changes to Content Plan
Blaze will prompt you with a message on how it will modify your content plan to create content for YouTube. Review the text, then click Add Integration to proceed.
Verify YouTube Account Requirements
For the connection work correctly you must have a google account and one of the following must be true:
Google account is the owner of YouTube channel you with to connect.
Google account is an admin of the brand account you wish to connect.
Verify one of these is true then click Go to YouTube
Connect Blaze with Your Google Account
You will be taken to a google account selection screen. If you have multiple google accounts you may need to select the one you wish to connect to. In the picture sampled below, multiple accounts are listed. The User connects the highlighted account by clicking on it.
Confirm the permissions that Blaze needs access to in order for the integration to work correctly. Review these and click Allow.
Confirm Connection in Blaze
Now you will be asked to select your YouTube channel on Blaze. Make your selection and then click Connect 1 Account.
Blaze returns a message letting you know that all YouTube content will automatically post live on your newly connected YouTube channel. Click Confirm to dismiss this message.
You should be taken back the integration page. YouTube should be now located in the "In your Content Plan" section with a green icon next to it. This indicates that its connected correctly.
Checking your Content Plan
Select Content Plan from the side bar. Then click Adjust Defaults then Channels. Scroll down to the YouTube Shorts section. Enable it if not enabled. Click Save as Default to confirm your changes.
YouTube Shorts and Cross Posting
As long as YouTube Shorts are listed in your Content Plan, they will automatically get created on your content calendar.
Additionally Instagram Reels, TikTok and other video posts can also be cross posted to YouTube by simply enabling the switch in the post preview window.
