You may notice that some of the blog posts generated by Blaze include links to other websites.

This is completely intentional — and actually beneficial for your SEO and content performance.

External Links Help Build Your Authority

When search engines (and now, large language models like ChatGPT or Google’s AI Overviews) analyze your content, they look for signals that show trustworthiness and expertise.

Linking to high-quality, authoritative sources is one of those signals.

By referencing credible websites — like respected industry publications, research organizations, or well-known tools — your post is seen as more reliable and valuable.

What This Means for Your SEO

Adding a few high-authority external links into each blog post helps:

  • ✅ Show Google that your content is well-researched and trustworthy

  • ✅ Improve the context and topical relevance of your article

  • ✅ Strengthen your site’s relationship to reputable domains

  • ✅ Help your posts perform better in search results and AI summaries

In short: linking out to strong sources makes your own content stronger.

How Blaze Chooses Which Links to Include

Blaze automatically selects links from trusted, relevant sources to support your content.

We prioritize:

  • Reputable publishers (e.g., HubSpot, Forbes, Statista, Google, government or educational sites).

  • Industry resources that add context — not low-quality or spammy domains.

  • Pages that are contextually aligned with your post’s topic.

Avoiding Competitors

While Blaze aims to choose neutral, reputable sources, we can’t guarantee that a generated post will never link to a competitor’s website.

To prevent this, you can list your competitors inside your Brand Kit → Content Preferences section under “Domains to Avoid.”

Blaze will automatically avoid linking to any domains listed there when generating your future content.

Can I Remove or Edit External Links?

Yes, you have full control. If you prefer to replace or remove any link, you can easily do so in the Blaze document editor before publishing.

However, we recommend keeping at least one or two external links in every post — it’s one of the easiest ways to boost your content’s credibility.
