Organizing with Projects

Learn how Blaze organizes and manages your content in your workspace using Projects.

Projects are like folders within your workspace. Content that gets generated inside of Blaze gets placed into projects.

When Blaze generates content outlined in your Content Plan it will create a project that matches the date range of the campaign. It then places the content it generates into that project.

The image below shows a project in the content plan. Note the date of the campaign matches the date name of the project

If you are manually creating content using a wizard or a blank design/document, you will be asked to select the project you want your content generated in.

Calendar vs Projects

As they look similar when being used, it's common to mistake the Calendar tool as the same thing as Projects.

The Calendar tool is aggregating all of your content across your workspace into one view. Projects are limited to only the content they hold.

The key differences are:

  • Calendar - Aggregates all scheduled and posted content across all projects.

  • Projects - Shows only content inside selected project regardless of status.

Opening a Project

When you click on a project you will see a view that is similar to the calendar view. The biggest difference, the content you see will be limited to the content contained inside your project.

Similar to the calendar view, you can toggle the view of your content forward and backwards using the < and > arrow buttons. You can click Today to jump to a view of your content relative to the day you are viewing it.

Views

You can change the view of your project by click the dropdown button and selecting it from the dropdown list.

You have three views you can use:

  • List View - Content is shown in a list with columns featuring pertinent information about the post.

  • Week View - Content is shown as a preview across a 1 week span.

  • 5-Day View - Content is shown as a preview across a 5-day span.

Experiment with them to find the one that best suits your needs.

Filters

In addition to views, you can also use Filters to quickly isolate posts based on status or channels. An example would be to filter only your blog posts, or only see content designated for Facebook.

Click the Filter button to add filters to your view.

List of Filters

Channels - Platforms that your content will be posted on.

  • Facebook

  • Instagram

  • LinkedIn

  • Twitter (X)

  • TikTok

  • YouTube

  • Google Business Profile

  • Blog (Wix, WordPress, GoHighLevel)

  • Email (Mailchimp)

Post Status - The status associated with each piece of content.

  • Draft - Content creation is still in-progress or content is not approved for posting.

  • Reminder Set - an e-mail will be sent to user at designated date and time.

  • Autoscheduled - Content is scheduled to go live at designated date and time.

  • Posted - Content has already been posted

  • Failed - Content attempted to post but failed.

Once you are done with your filters click the filter button again and then select Clear all Filters to reset the view.

Access Content from the Project View

Similar to the calendar tool, you can click on content to open it up in the post preview window. From here you can interact with your content like would would normally.
