How to Create a Press Release

Learn how to use the Press Release wizard to put together a high quality press release in just a few minutes!

Access the Create Press Release wizard

  • Click on Create New from the side menu.

  • Scroll down to the content section.

  • Select Press Release.

Press Release - Topic

Using the text box, describe to blaze what you want your Press Release to be about. The more information you are able to provide the more unique and focused your Press Release will be.

As you type information into the description box, Blaze will automatically start to generate more context for you. Pressing enter on your keyboard will insert the generated content into the text box, be sure to review this text for accuracy.

Clicking I'll fill it in myself will allow you manually enter in additional information.

Clicking Have Blaze autofill the rest will allow Blaze to do this for you.

Select the desired option to proceed.

Fill out/review the rest of the wizard

  1. Give your document a name and select what project you would like it created in.

  2. Define what kind of press release you want.

    (Product Announcement, Event, Fundraiser, Business Results, Something else...)

  3. Select the brand voice you would like Blaze to write your content in. (you can also select up to three different tones if you don't want to use a brand voice)

  4. Select up to 3 source materials that you would like Blaze to reference and consider when authoring your content.

More ways to Configure allows you to further refine the wizard.

Clicking Show will reveal additional categories of information that can further hone your press release.

  • Facts, notes, or quotes to include - pertinent information you want included in your press release

  • People or entities to mention - important people/organizations/businesses to include in your press release

  • Audience - Define who will be reading the press release so Blaze can tailor the content to that audience. (investors, customers, potential business partners, etc...)

  • Product/Service Description - product/service information that is relevant to your press release.

  • Avoid - words, phrases, or concepts, that you would like Blaze to refrain from using.

Clicking Select Images will move onto the next step of wizard.

Images

Blaze will provide a selection of images from the stock image library and some AI generated. Both will be selections that Blaze things relate to the topic of your content.

By highlighting the AI generated images you can manually regenerate the image using the Try Again button.

The Try Again button underneath all of the images will tell Blaze to find all new images (stock photos and ai generated)

Show More will add in an additional row of AI generated images.

Clicking Add From Another Source will bring up the Blaze Image Workflow window. You can use this window to manually upload, select stock, or generate an AI image.

Once, you have selected your images click Generate Press Release to proceed.

Review, Edit, and Publish your Press Release

Use the outline, Blaze will generate your press release complete with images and text.

Review and edit the press release as needed.

Highlighting images will bring up the Replace Image button. that will bring up the Blaze image workflow window, where you can find and replace the image with something different.

Clicking Share for Review will bring up the Share for Review options.

The Download button will allow you to download a copy of your document in the following formats:

  • HTML

  • PDF

  • Markdown

The Publish to Web button will provide a link you can share with anyone.

The Request Review button will allow you to invite others, using their e-mail address, to review your content post.

Alternatively, using the Copy Link button will copy a sharable review link to your clipboard that you can paste into an e-mail or chat application to send to others.


​Export will bring up an window with 4 options for exporting your document.

Alternatively you can access the export dialog directly by clicking the ellipsis next to

Share for Review.
