Using the Improve Feature

Learn how to leverage the Improve tool to refine the output of content.

Locate the Improve Tool

Open the Calendar in the sidebar.

Once the calendar loads, locate and click the Improve button at the bottom of the screen to open it up.

Understanding the Tool

The improve tool works by directing you to key areas inside of blaze that affect how Blaze understands your business and thus the content it generates on your behalf.

When the tool opens you can select what aspect you would like to improve.

Blaze will respond with some recommendations. Clicking those recommendations will take you to key areas to make recommended adjustments.

Improving Copy

Clicking "Copy" will expand the improve tool to show some popular suggestions that will improve the quality of the copy that Blaze generates on your behalf.

  1. Adjust your Content Preference

    • Clicking this button will take you to the Content Preferences page in your Brand Kit where you can outline:

      • Topics to Avoid

      • Words and Phrases to Avoid

      • Domains to Avoid

      • Hashtags to include

      • Logo Frequency

      • Blog Keywords

  2. Add more examples of your content

    • Clicking this button will take you to the Source Materials section of your Brand Kit. Here you can add Webpage links and upload Documents that Blaze will use to better understand your business.

  3. Revise your Brand Voice

    • Clicking this will take you to the Styles & Voice section of your Brand Kit. You should review and edit all the elements in your Brand Voice removing anything that doesn't fit your brand and add in anything that seems to be missing.

  4. Chat with us

    • Clicking this will bring up the support window where you can chat with our support team and get the guidance you need.

Improving Visuals

Clicking "Visuals" will expand the improve tool to show some popular suggestions that will improve the quality of the visual designs that Blaze generates on your behalf.

  1. Add more images and videos for your content

    • Clicking this will take you to the Images and Video section of your Brand Kit. Here you can upload video and images that Blaze will use when designing visual content. More images and videos results in less stock and more variety.

  2. Adjust your visual Content Preferences

    • Clicking this will take you to the Content Preferences section of your Brand Kit so you can focus on your Design Preferences:

      1. Featured Media - If you want Text, Image, and/or Video content.

      2. Brand Kit Media Priority - How you want Blaze to prioritize your images and videos alongside stock galleries.

      3. Images on Blog Posts - If you want Blaze to add images to your Blog posts.

  3. Edit your colors, fonts, and logo

    • Clicking this will take you to the Styles & Voice page of your Brand Kit. Here you can use the Brand Styles section to adjust:

      • Visual Identity Description

      • Visual Identity Keywords

      • Logos

      • Colors

      • Fonts

  4. Chat with us

    • Clicking this will bring up the support window where you can chat with our support team and get the guidance you need.

Business Context

Clicking "Business Content" will expand the improve tool to show some popular suggestions that will improve how Blaze understand your business.

  1. Adjust your preference for call-to-action, keywords

    • Clicking this button will take you to the Content Preferences page in your Brand Kit where you can outline:

      • Topics to Avoid

      • Words and Phrases to Avoid

      • Domains to Avoid

      • Hashtags to include

      • Logo Frequency

      • Blog Keywords

  2. Add Source Materials to generate content from

    • Clicking this button will take you to the Source Materials section of your Brand Kit. Here you can add Webpage links and upload Documents that Blaze will use to better understand your business.

  3. Edit your upcoming content in your Brand Plan

    • Clicking this will take you to your Brand Plan where you can review and edit the Topics for your next weeks plan.

  4. Update your Brand Profile

    • Clicking this will take you to your Brand Profile in your Brand Kit. This is how Blaze understands your business. Review and adjust it as necessary using the edit buttons adjacent to each of the categories.

  5. Chat with Us

    • Clicking this will bring up the support window where you can chat with our support team and get the guidance you need.

Something else

This category might work for you if nothing else seemed to fit. Again, review the actions it suggests clicking them and following them to various areas inside of Blaze to improve how it understands your brand.

  1. Add materials and media for your content

    • Clicking this button will take you to the Source Materials section of your Brand Kit. Here you can add Webpage links and upload Documents that Blaze will use to better understand your business.

  2. Adjust Content Preferences

    • Clicking this will take you to the Content Preferences section of your Brand Kit so you can focus on your Design Preferences:

      1. Featured Media - If you want Text, Image, and/or Video content.

      2. Brand Kit Media Priority - How you want Blaze to prioritize your images and videos alongside stock galleries.

      3. Images on Blog Posts - If you want Blaze to add images to your Blog posts.

  3. Edit your upcoming content on Brand Plan

    • Clicking this will take you to your Brand Plan where you can review and edit the Topics for your next weeks plan.

  4. Update your Brand Profile

    • Clicking this will take you to your Brand Profile in your Brand Kit. This is how Blaze understands your business. Review and adjust it as necessary using the edit buttons adjacent to each of the categories.

  5. Chat with us

    • Clicking this will bring up the support window where you can chat with our support team and get the guidance you need.

Regenerate Content to See Changes

Adjustments will be reflected in new and regenerated content.

Any existing unposted content will need to be regenerated using the regenerate tool to reflect the changes you made.
