The Pioneer Plan is Blaze’s early adopter subscription. It was offered to users who joined Blaze in its early stages and includes benefits that differ from today’s Starter and Growth plans.

The Pioneer Plan is no longer available to new users. It is a grandfathered subscription reserved for those who originally signed up under it.

This guide explains what’s included, how it works, and how it compares to current plans.

What Is the Pioneer Plan?

The Pioneer Plan was designed to reward early Blaze users with expanded publishing flexibility and generous content limits.

It differs from Starter and Growth in a few key ways:

1. Content Creation Limits

Pioneer users can generate up to 25 pieces of content per channel per week

For most businesses, this functions as effectively unlimited weekly content creation.

This differs from Starter and Growth, which use their credit allocations to generate content, and thus are limited to their monthly allotment.

2. Publishing & Integrations

One of the biggest advantages of the Pioneer Plan is publishing flexibility.

Pioneer users can:

  • Connect unlimited social media accounts

  • Publish to unlimited integrations

For comparison:

  • Starter Plan: Publish to up to 3 accounts

  • Growth Plan: Publish to up to 10 accounts

Pioneer has no cap on connected publishing accounts.

3. Users & Team Access

The Pioneer Plan includes: 1 user by default.

Additional users were available at $12 per month per user. Though as part of the early adopter structure, Pioneer accounts were not actively billed for additional users.

Starter and Growth plans include structured user limits tied to each subscription tier.

4. Credits & New Features

The Pioneer Plan does not include monthly credits. Credits are used by Starter and Growth users to generate their content. Pioneer users are grandfather into unlimited content, and thus do not need to use credits.

Certain newer Blaze features, like Visual Styles and AI Videos, that are available to Pioneer users, do require credits.

When these features launched in January 2026, Pioneer users were given 200 complimentary credits to test them.

After those credits are used:

  • Pioneer users can purchase credits separately

  • Pioneer users can earn 200 credits per referral as part of the referral program

Credits are not included monthly as they are with Starter and Growth.

Starter and Growth plans include a recurring monthly credit allotment.

How to tell if you are on the Pioneer Plan

Click the profile icon in the top right of your screen to open the workspace menu, and then select Your Billing.

The Billing and usage screen will show what plan you are on, and you can click on Manage Plan to move to the Starter or Growth plan if you want.

Switching Plans

Pioneer users can switch to Starter or Growth at any time.

Important:

  • Once you leave the Pioneer Plan, you cannot return to it.

  • The Pioneer Plan is grandfathered and no longer offered to new users.

All new Blaze users and workspaces are enrolled in either Starter or Growth.

Should I stay on Pioneer or switch?

Pioneer may be a strong fit if:

  • You publish to many accounts

  • You value high weekly content limits

  • You don’t need monthly included credits

Starter or Growth may be a better fit if:

  • You want a monthly credit allowance

  • You plan to use Visual Styles or AI Video regularly

  • You want structured campaign planning features
