Start the SEO Relevance Planning Tool

From the homepage, select SEO from the side bar.

Click Setup Up My SEO Plan.

Select your Topic Clusters

Blaze will take its understanding of your brand, your marketspace, your customers, etc... and recommend some topic clusters it thinks will perform well.

This screen shows you a list of topic clusters along side their KD rating (keyword difficulty) and Vol. value (existing traffic volume numbers).

Highlighting a row and selecting See Details will show you more information about that topic cluster.

Topic Cluster Details

The topic cluster detail window gives you deeper insights and data around the highlighted cluster

You can see its

  • Avg. Position

  • Difficult

  • Monthly Searches

  • Total Impressions

In addition Blaze categorizes the cluster keywords into categories.

Changing the Topic Focus

If you are not satisfied with the suggested topic clusters you can ask Blaze to search for more based on your own keywords. To start this process click Reset my Topic Focus at the bottom of the pop-up window.

Adjust your topic and the "Results for" field (this is the location data, adjust only if applicable) then click Discover Topic Clusters.

Select 3 Topic Clusters

Now select your top three topic clusters that you want to rank for and click

Understanding Main Topic and Supporting Keywords

Once you select your 3 topic clusters, Blaze will create a list. Your main topic will be in bold and denoted by a number and the supporting keywords by a decimal place.

For example the Main topic is bold and listed as: 1 - How To Roast Coffee.

The supporting keyword clusters are listed below and denoted by a decimal.

1.1 Coffee Roaster

1.2 sey coffee

Each one of these items will become a blog post. Blaze will use the Keyword to generate a blog that relates to it. As you can see from the sample image below columns that incorporate the intended Post Date and the Blog Status along side the Keyword Difficulty or (KD) and keyword volume (Vol.)

You should review, edit, and adjust the supporting keywords.

  • Delete any supporting keywords that don't seem to fit.

CAUTION: Deleting main topics removes all keyword topics in that cluster.

  • Reorder any keywords by click and dragging them up and down the list.

  • Add any keywords that you feel like are missing.
