There are several different ways to use AI to edit your documents after they have been created.

Bottom AI Toolbar

Visible at the bottom of every document is the bottom AI toolbar.

There is the free text field in addition to three available buttons:

  • Change Length - Choose to make the document shorter, longer, summarize or simplify.

  • Change the Voice & Tone - Choose a different brand voice or tones to apply to the entire document with light, moderate, or heavy revisions.

  • Improve Quality - Ask Blaze to do another version of the document that helps make Blaze's or your writing better.

In the text field, you can ask Blaze to make any additions or edits to the document you want. Here are some examples you can try:

  • "Give me 5 more headline ideas"

  • "Replace every instance of the word 'Starbucks' with 'a local coffee shop'

  • "Write me a two-sentence summary that I can use for the meta description of this blog post"

Any newly generated content will be added to the bottom of the document.

For content that is being rewritten, the content will be generated in a modal over the content, with the option to add the content below, replace the selection, or ask Blaze to keep refining it with more instructions.

In-line AI Toolbar

The In-line AI toolbar works just the same as the bottom toolbar, but only on selected text.

Similarly to the bottom AI toolbar, the new content will be generated in a modal over the original content, with the option to add the content below, replace the selection, or ask Blaze to keep refining it with more instructions.

Hovering over the modal gives you the option to cancel the creation by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Right Sidebar

The right sidebar is also another place where you can make document-wide edits with AI. These are the same as the buttons in the bottom AI toolbar, just conveniently placed in the sidebar for easy access.
