Use Comments and Tasks to collaborate with others in Blaze Documents

Inviting Others to Collaborate

From inside of your document use the Share for Review tool to send an e-mail invite to others to be invited to your document to review.

Click Edit Access or +Share

Add the e-mail address of the person you wish to invite along side the permissions you would like them to have in your document.

Alternatively you can copy and paste a shareable link with those you wish to invite.

Accessing Shared Documents

When a document is shared with you, you will receive an e-mail address with a link to jump to the document. From inside of Blaze, you can access any documents you have been shared with using the Approvals tool.

Accessing Comments

After others have been invited to your document, reviewed, and provided feedback, their comments can be accessed inside the collaboration side panel.

Tasks and Comments

The collaboration pane is divided into two sections - Tasks and Comments.

Completing Tasks

Tasks can be marked completed by simply clicking the checkmark shown below. The person who created the task will be notified that it was completed.

Replying to Comments

Users can reply to comments by simply clicking into the "Write a reply" text box and adding in their commentary.

Adding Reactions, Pinning, and Resolving Comments

Using the icons shown below, users can add reactions, pin a comment to the top of the comment list, and resolve the comment by clicking the green check box.
