Blaze enables you to collaborate on your documents by providing intuitive, efficient ways to get input on your docs, all in one place.
Comments
There are two main types of comments:
Contextual comments - associated with specific text or element in a document.
Document-wide comments - apply to the document in general.
Doc-wide Comments
Add doc-wide comments by clicking the speech icon to open up the collaboration sidebar.
βType your comment in the comment box. Comments support rich text so you use bold, italics, bullets, and mention users or other documents.

Contextual Comments
Add contextual comments by selecting text, an image, or other items within your doc and clicking on the comments icon.

Comment Actions
You can take several actions on a comment:
Reply to the comment to create a thread
Edit the comment
Name a comment thread
React with an emoji
Pin the comment to the top of the collaboration sidebar
Resolve the comment
You can tag your workspace members by typing @β in comments and tasks. This will send a notification to their email and notifications menu.
Comments are threaded to keep your conversations organized, and they can be expanded or collapsed.
Tasks
You can turn any comment into a task, allowing you to track and notify users about action items within a document. You can assign tasks to yourself or any workspace member.
To create a task, click the Comment icon and then the Convert to task button.
βThen you have have the option to add a title and description, and can assign the task to a workspace member and set a due date.
βThe task will then appear in the collaboration sidebar.
βYou can also see all the tasks assigned to you across your workspace in the Tasks page in the Navigation Sidebar.

By assigning a due date to a task, Blaze will send the user reminder email notifications when their task is due soon.
π‘ Tip: If you want to create a personal task list, you can create a document and name it something like My Tasks and all tasks added to that document will appear on the Tasks page.
